Pierre Koenig: Living with Steel

This is a re-design of Neil Jackson's Pierre Koenig Living With Steel.
In this book, I’ve designed the layout to reflect Pierre Koenig’s architectural structures along side graphical elements that are representational of his blueprints and the black steel I-beams found in his work. Images and columns represent glass and steel panes of the houses while gutters represent the thinner steel frames that hold them together. The teal color that I chose is found in the waters and pools surrounding the houses and is a nice complimentary tertiary to the red that I’ve used to convey the bold, powerful statements that Koenig makes with his architecture.
